This is Movie 1/6. BluRay Source. Movie 2 comes out next month.
Calling it Broken Blade makes more sense because…
1) That’s the title on the title screen
2) The part where the characters say the title doesn’t really make sense in English if you leave it as Break Blade
But Break Blade is apparently the more known title, and we use the more common title for file names regardless of what’s on the title screen.

Can’t really say I enjoyed it. Jesus Yamato piloting a mech again? Zzz. Then Ararararagi-kun, Hitagi and Nadeko too? (´_ゝ｀) Fuck Charmaine and ChaosShadow for asking me to sub this.

Updated: 1080p is out now. I fixed a… I don’t know. A reverse typo?

That should say cams, not vehicles. I thought the translator typoed cars then I changed it to vehicles since they don’t really drive cars, but cams are some [thing]. inb4 this is why women shouldn’t edit a man’s anime. (´_ゝ｀) Fixed in the 1080p.

  14. Do you seriously care about vehicles -> cams? I mean… come on. This movie isn’t even about how cams or vehicles work. If you’re that anal though, I suggest you install aegisub and mkvtoolnix and change that line yourself.

    • 1) Break Blade isn’t so bad since it’s not weekly but due to the erratic release schedule we don’t guarantee the translator will be around forever. So, we’ll see.
      2) We will be if DB is still going to do it.

    • No, it’s a unique unit for measuring distance in the world of Broken Blade. However, whether or not the spelling is accurate to whatever it officially should be is another question.

  36. this movie was a sweet start. i didnt think it would cliffhang right at the best part so far though, kind of a bummer. I hope the second release gets subbed :D

  37. why is all the audio routed via the central speaker in a 5.1 surround setup?
    this makes for really bad listening. it doesn’t play any noise over my other 4 speakers, and yes, they are set up correctly.

    anyone else noticed this?

    extra info; I have tested it on a 2 and 4 speaker setup and it works fine, audio is sent to left and right. only and when there is a central speaker present is there a problem…
